Archirodon Human Resources Information System (HRIS)

In today’s fast-evolving business environment, digital transformation is more than a trend—it’s a necessity. As part of Archirodon’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence, the company embarked on a transformative journey to develop a customized Human Resources Information System (HRIS) tailored to the needs of a global, engineering-driven workforce. I’m proud to have been part of this journey as a member of the Electronic Data Processing (EDP) team, playing a critical role in building and deploying this system from the ground up.

The Vision: Centralizing HR in a Global Company

Archirodon operates in multiple countries with thousands of employees, which presented unique challenges in managing human resources consistently and efficiently across borders. Traditional, fragmented HR processes were slowing down operations, complicating compliance, and making data-driven decision-making nearly impossible.

The HRIS project was launched with a bold but clear goal:
Unify, digitize, and streamline HR operations globally while improving accessibility, transparency, and compliance.

My Role in the EDP Team

As part of the EDP team, my responsibilities revolved around the technical planning, development, and integration of the system. We worked closely with HR professionals, project managers, and executive leadership to ensure the platform addressed both organizational goals and employee needs.

Key Contributions:

  • System Architecture & Data Modeling: I helped design the foundational data structures for employee records, payroll components, time tracking, and leave management. This was crucial for ensuring scalability and flexibility.
  • Workflow Automation: I led the development of several automated workflows, including onboarding, offboarding, and internal transfers, reducing manual intervention and turnaround time.
  • Security & Access Control: Given the sensitivity of HR data, I collaborated with our security team to implement robust role-based access controls and encryption protocols.
  • System Integration: I worked on integrating the HRIS with existing tools, such as biometric attendance systems and financial modules, ensuring seamless data flow and eliminating duplication.
  • User Training & Support: I developed user manuals and conducted training sessions for HR teams in various regional offices, ensuring smooth adoption of the new system.

Core Features of Archirodon’s Custom HRIS

The system was tailored specifically for the company’s needs. Among the modules we developed:

  • Employee Master Data – a centralized repository of all employee records.
  • Leave Management – with automated approval workflows.
  • Performance Management – aligned with project KPIs.
  • Compliance & Reporting – including labor law compliance across various jurisdictions.

The Impact

After its deployment, Archirodon’s HRIS significantly improved HR operations:

  • 30% reduction in administrative overhead across HR departments.
  • Improved employee satisfaction with access to self-service tools.
  • Better compliance with labor laws in multiple regions.
  • Real-time reporting enabled faster and smarter workforce decisions.

Looking Ahead

What we built was not just a system, but a foundation for future innovation. The next phases include enhancing mobile accessibility, adding predictive analytics, and integrating AI for talent management.

Being part of this groundbreaking project reaffirmed the value of technology in driving human capital development. I’m grateful to Archirodon for the opportunity and proud of the impact we’ve made as the EDP team.
